Parents Beware: Danger and Drugs Fill Your Teenager’s Halloween Night

Halloween is a controversial holiday, one which is criticized by some and loved by others. If you are the parent of a teenager, please be careful and cautious on Halloween Night this year. You see, with teenagers there are “excuses” to drink and use drugs. Examples of these excuses are New Year’s Eve, St. Patrick’s Day, 04/20, etc….

The drug of choice on Halloween is Psychodelic Mushrooms which contain very dangerous chemicals. This drug is a hallucinogen and could kill you the first time you take it. Another aspect of Halloween which I disagree with is how the girls dress. They use Halloween as an excuse to dress like skanks, and this could lead to sexual assault issues with drunken men.

Let me give you a real life example of what I’m talking about. Last year on Halloween, I attended a Costume/ Keg Party near Rhode Island College. At this party, two of my friends (who are girls) were grabbed in places they didn’t want to be.

dangers of halloweenIn a court of law, they probably could have had the guys who did it charged with 3rd Degree Sexual Assault. We wound up leaving the party early, and in the morning we learned that shortly after we left, a riot broke out at the party. The majority of the attendants at the party were high on Mushrooms, and three people wound up being stabbed. I’m just glad i wasn’t there for it.

If you have read my other article, “What your kids are ACTUALLY doing” this is a perfect example. Your kid may get straight A’s at a private school and could be an innocent sweetheart in your eyes. All I’m saying is be careful.

If your son or daughter wants to sleep out on this night, chances are they’re going to an underage drinking party where unprotected sex, alcohol, marijuana, hard drugs, and violence will be imminent. Again, I’m 19 years old and have been a part of the party scene.
